im a single teen mother who thought she was in love but then relized she didnt know what love is it was only infatuation!im staying with friends i have two children one 7 month year old daughter and one 2 yrs. old son! their father choose drugs and alcohol over his family and after dealing with four years of his abuse i decided my children didnt need that kind of life! im only 19 yrs. old and scared of what my future holds i need financial & emotional!

hey, if any of you single mom's need help with your babies so you guys can take a few hours of being alone, i'd be more then happy to help. i can play with them, feed them, shower them, take them to the park, the mall, for walks, which ever...

Heys am 17 ii have ma son his 13 months ii live wif my mom but thinqs are not qoinq well & i want t2 move out & ii need help his dad left me when ii was onlii 3 months & till now he hasnt seen his son he choose his qirlfriend over us ii still qo t2 skool & ii have no job

 in response to Loops...   Hi everyone. I havent been on here for years but as an update im in a relationship with a great guy for 3yrs now we had a child my children are now 6yrs,4yrs and 2years. Im almost done with school to become an MA and also training for phlebotomy.my fiance has a great job and we have a nice townhome. So anyone can change the course of their life with a positive attitude.

Im in a similar situation as you..i also have two kids, i have two little girls, one 1.5 year old and a six month old. I was with their father for three years. He was abusive towards me, even when i was pregnant. My oldest daughter was seven months old and i was two months pregnant and he came in our room holding my daughter, he threw her in her crib and got on top of me (i was pregnant!) and started hitting me. Then my daughter started crying and he turned and lashed out on her, that was the breaking point for me. I left that very night. I now live with my parents..I love my life, i couldn't be anymore grateful with my parents for how much they help me..its just that sometimes they dont understand me. They dont understand how frustrating it is to have no one that relates to me, no one to just talk to..no one to just lean on when i need it..Im starting college soon so..im looking forward to that, and..i think you should do the same..there a a lot of resources out there to help you and..getting a career going will not only be good for you but also good for your kids, so that your able to provide them with a good life..and give them all the materials they need for a successful life.  in response to twins~at~15...   hey i'm 15 and i have twin little girls. they were 4mnths early & was in the nicu for 2mnths . @ first everybody was "here for me" but in the end i really only have my mom ! financially everything is good but its extremely hard ! they scream && cry at the same time they throw up at the same time every where . they are 4 hand fulls !!! my kid's father is here with me but i he cant live with me b/c i live w/ my mom && her other 3 kids ! i do virtual school to be here with them , I need a job and a apartment asap. can any one help me w/ that ??

i got pregnant at 13 and now I'm 15 with a 1yr old i love her.But I'm tired of asking my mother for money she has to support 4 children plus my sister has 2 kids so its really hard for me to get diapers or anything else she needs.I go to school i get good grades and i would like to work but that would be way to much on my hands.I don't no what to do and i have no one to rely on I'm a single mother and i have been since the day i found out i was pregnant.So anyone who can give me advice i would take it thank you.

you're stronger then u know it. if you always keep the walfare of your children first u will make it. surrounds yourself with positive women who can give words of wise. TRUST in GOD That where all your help come form.

You probally kno ur parents better than us. First off it's probably best to first tell the parent that you think would be more accepting, or to tell them both at the same time. It's also best to tell them when they are calm, comfortable, not stressed out. I dont know about ur parents but my parents would freak out less if I told them while we were watching TV, playing a board game, or making baked goods in the kitchen. When you tell your parents I would suggest just coming out and saying "I'm pregnant".

But those are just my suggestions, You know ur parents, I don't.
No matter how you tell them be prepared for a bad reaction. Stay calm, avoid fighting with your parents. Give your parents time to deal in the situation. And then talk with them when they are calm and ready. While some parents give a more negative response, some will be more positive. So also be prepared for a positive response.

 in response to babybooty!!...   There is always the possibility for getting pregnant no matter where you are on your cycle. But you should always use a condom, It will also help minimize the chance of getting STDs, and other contagious things, it does help a little.

As advice to all you girls out there, You are better off waiting to have sex and dating when you are ready both financially and emotionally to have kids, because getting pregnant even with protection is still possible. And if your not ready to have kids, chances are he isn't ready either. Another reason not to have sex or date, until you are older and ready to have a family of your own, is the emotional and mental damage/baggage that comes with dating..sex..beaking up...dating..sex..breaking up..etc..

I'm not saying this because I am old fashion or religious.
I'm Agnostic(non-religious) and I'm saying this out of personal experience.
Your better off enjoying everything else life has to offer, simply enjoy being an individual/single, and waiting until you are older, more mature, and ready for the consequences that come with sex and dating.

Use your teenage years to get to know your self as an individual. Learn more about the world around you. Take your time deciding what you want to do with your life. explore your options, dream big. and do your best to reach your dreams.

im soo srry nadine123 i cant even think how horrible you must feel..... im 15 years old and 18 weeks pregnant with twins ...... my babies father (who is 18) decided that he wasnt ready to be a parent and said that all of his other stuff is more important ..... and he refuses to help me out so i can sorta feel your pain ... buut in the same way i cant

Yes, there is always a possibility of getting pregnant, no matter where you are in your menstrual cycle, if you have unprotected sex. Chances could be less likely, however, when you are on your period. Most women, if they have a normal 28 day cycle, usually ovulate, or release an egg, 10-14 days from the first day of her period. This would be the time when a woman is most likely to get pregnant. This is not applicable if she does not have a regular cycle.

  Pregnancy can occur from intercourse that takes place during a period. This is because sperm can live in the body for up to five days, and if a woman ovulates soon after her period, then conception could take place from intercourse that occurred during her period.

 If i was you go and see a doctor and tell them and if so ask for the morning after pill.

im 18 yrs old and im a mother of a two and half yr old, my sons dad is locked up... and i live with my parents. nothings really working out for me since i dont have a job and money to support my child all alone. i really want government help but htey dont want to help me because i live with my parents, waht can i do????

after time you will start to get use to your life, and how it runs. i am also a single mom of two and i am very busy. after having kids for almost 5 years i had give up alot. but it made me grow up quick. you will know what is the best for your kids. dont second guess yourself.

i am too a young mother of two. i only signed up on this blog because i seen your post. i just want to tell you a few things that i have learned by being a mother at a young age. i like every other mother want the best for my children. i found a that by enrolling in college i have found really great people that seem to be mature about my situation and treat me like an adult not like "just another teen mom". i know that college is not for every one but if you have the opportunity to go you should look into it. college not only benefits my future by being able to get better job but is also builds my self esteem to know that i am better than "just a young girl who ruined her life" it opens many doors for me and my two boys. they are 2 and 5 and full of life. some times i need a break and college give me the opportunity to have adult interaction. kids will be kids and some times parents at any age can go crazy. i don't know if you are in college but if not you should see what is available to you in your area. i wish you the best!

SAME HERE THE DONOR OF MY SON WHO IS NOW 2 1/2 IS IN JAIL FOR LIFE FOR BEING ON DRUGS ANG TREATING TO KILL PEOPLE AND A CHOLO BUT YEP I REALIZED I LOVED HIM BUT WASNT IN LOVE WITH HIM.

 I THEN GOT SOME HELP FROM CALWORKS THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT ALOT BUT YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR EMERGENCY HOUSING AND LOW INCOME HOUSING BUT NEVER STOP CALLING OR ASKING THEM QUESTIONS SOME OF THEM ARENT THAT GOOD WORKERS I MEAN. BUT YOU WILL EITHER HAVE TO GET A FULL TIME JOB OR FULL TIME STUDENT TO GET THERE BENIFITS AND HAVE TO SHOW THEM THAT YOU DONT HAVE INCOME AND NEED HEL FOR YOUR KIDS... I GOIGN THROUGH ALL OF IT RIGHT NOW
